Former Hercules star, Kevin Sorbo, is showing his gentler side in his new film, Bernie The Dolphin.
Kevin Sorbo is used to battling dragons, dinosaurs and giants, but now he's taking on two curious kids.
"How many rated G movies do they do anymore today? Not very much," Sorbo said.
Sorbo shared his excitement to be part of a project that appeals to audiences of all ages.
Set in St. Augustine, Florida, Bernie the Dolphin is a family adventure about a brother and sister who befriend a badly sunburned dolphin. The kids must devise a clever plan to stop the bad guys, protect the sea life, and, most importantly, save their best friend, Bernie.
"We shot it here in Florida, and I play an evil developer. It's like a spy kids thing in a way. It's got a lot of the humor in it though, too. It's a fun movie. I'm just trying to do my little bit to give people an opportunity to have their kids and families go to movies together.
