After suffering an electric bike accident, Simon Cowell is still recovering. As he heals, Kenan Thompson will be taking his place as guest judge on America's Got Talent.
Kelly Clarkson Fills In
Prior to the announcement of Thompson, Kelly Clarkson filled in Cowell's spot. Clarkson tweeted at Cowell, poking fun at how much she is enjoying her time at the show. She wrote:
"I think I could get used to this! Just kidding @SimonCowell! Get well soon my friend. Your @AGT family misses you! #AGT."
In response to her, Cowell tweeted back saying:
"Thank you @kellyclarkson. Miss all of you. What a Great Show. #AGT."
Kenan Thompson's Announcement
The star took to Instagram to announce that he will be a guest judge. In his caption he wrote:
"Beyond excited to witness America's Greatest Talents!!! Literally a household favorite of ours!!! Ask Georgia!!! @nbc @agt thank you for having me!!"
Thompson will be joining judges Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel, for today's and Wednesday's live shows. Be sure to tune into NBC at 8pm to watch!
