Fox's hit reality show the Masked Singer is a competition show where disguised celebrities compete as judges try to guess who they are. Contestants are unmasked after being eliminated, usually leading to explosive reveals.
In season three, Sarah Palin was infamously unmasked as the Bear, prompting host Nick Cannon to say,
“This might be the most shocked I’ve ever been on this show."
Now, as filming on season seven of the Masked Singer begins, the first contestant has reportedly already been unmasked---prompting two judges to walk off in protest.
Former New York City mayor and lawyer to Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, was one of the first to go this season. Sources say that as soon as he was revealed, judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke left the stage.
With a rocky political career, Giuliani was responsible for defending Trump during his impeachment trials, and for pushing the baseless conspiracy theory that the 2020 election was stolen.
Judges Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger reportedly stayed when Giuliani was revealed, instead bantering with him on his election conspiracies until Jeong and Thicke returned.
It hasn't yet been revealed which character Giuliani disguised himself as, or which song sent him home. The intense new season premieres March 9 on Fox, where audiences will get to see exactly what went down.
