The Belgian electronic dance music festival Tomorrowland has announced that Katy Perry will headline their 2020 "Around the World" virtual festival along with some of the biggest names in EDM on July 25th and 26th.
The festival will be streamed online this year with virtual performances from some of the top DJs in the genre. Tomorrowland Around the World promotes togetherness in a never before seen way, and the festival's website describes the virtual experience by sharing:
"This brand-new Tomorrowland location can never be entered physically. Rather, the experience comes to you. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so prepare to write history together. Never before did the People of Tomorrow unite this way. Never before did people form all around the world feel this close."

Perry took to Twitter to share a video of DJ Martin Garrix welcoming her to the Tomorrowland family, sharing her excitement for performing in the unique festival.
Going virtual allows the performers to add enticing backgrounds and effects to their sets to give attendees an unforgettable experience. Perry, known for her outlandish outfits and essence promises fans nothing short of digital magic.
The American Idol judge performed her new single "Daises" on the show with eye-catching effects, making her no stranger to digital performances. She plans to perform singles from her upcoming album, Smile.
