Julianne Moore is set to produce and star in the new film Sharper from Apple TV+ and A24.
The Hollywood Reporter stated Moore will be playing a con artist:
Based on a spec script from Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka (The Sitter), Sharper follows a con artist in the world of Manhattan's billionaire echelon.
The film will be produced and distributed through A24, the popular independent film distribution company who released other films like Moonlight, Uncut Gems, Hereditary, and Lady Bird. Back in 2018, Apple TV+ signed a deal to release original films from A24.
A24 and Apple TV+ are set to premiere Sofia Coppola's On The Rock starring Bill Murray and Rashida Jones. Earlier, Apple TV+ and A24 acquired the rights to the coming-age documentary Boy's State.
Moore is set to star in another Apple TV+ limited series project Lisey's Story. The series is based on the thriller novel by Stephen King released in 2006.
