After receiving lots of love and support over the weekend, Siwa opened up about her decision to come out.

On Instagram Live on Sunday, she said:

"I'm really happy. And now that the world gets to see this side of my life, it makes me really really happy… And I want people to know that there is so much in love in the world…and it is so incredible."

Siwa beamed with excitement, sharing that she has "never ever been this happy before."

When asked about labels, Siwa shared that she's not ready to define herself as anything, just yet. She revealed:

"I have thought about this and the reason I am not ready to say this answer is because I really don't know this answer. I think humans are awesome. I think humans are really incredible people."

Though she's not committing to any labels, Siwa seems to be open to whatever the future might hold. When asked for a time period on when she first considered herself a member of the LGBTQ+ community, she said:

"I think my whole life because my whole life I have really, really been…I liked people but I had never fallen in love before. But I always believed that my person was just going to be my person. If that person happened to be a boy, then great. If that person happened to be a girl, great."
