Former Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher and her fiancé Jordan Rodgers have recently opened up about their relationship post-show, wedding plans and more.
Fletcher told Us Weekly that the couple's post-show relationship wasn't exactly smooth sailing--There was "a sense of pressure" in the beginning.
She said:
"I think that was one of the reasons why we stayed together in the beginning. There were so many reasons why we thought we should not be together. "I think, subconsciously for me, and for him, there was this pressure, not only from people that watch the show but, like, our family and our friends."
The couple also discussed their wedding, which was initially set for June 2020 but got pushed back to May 2021 as a result of Covid-19.
Fletcher said:
"We're kind of in a weird situation. We could roll the dice and hope that by May things will open up. But I just don't feel comfortable with that. I want everyone to feel safe and comfortable and excited to travel."
The pair plans on pushing their wedding back again, in order to ensure that "everyone can be there."
Rodgers said:
"What's a few more months?" We're gonna set the record for the longest engagement in reality TV history."
Fletcher and Rodgers met on the 12th season of The Bachelorette. The couple has been engaged for four years.
