John Stamos Shares Final Text From Taylor Hawkins Before He Died

"Full House" star John Stamos joined those mourning Foo Fighters' drummer Taylor Hawkins, as he shared the last text he received from the musician.

On March 26, John Stamos took to Twitter and revealed Hawkin's last message to him.

Stamos wrote,

"This was Taylor Hawkins' last text to me: 'Ya We've yet to fully have a hang -Got a put that s--t together before we die,'" Stamos tweeted on March 26. "Wise words from my friend- put that s--t together! I'm so f--king sad. Another one gone too soon."

On March 30, Stamos later took to Instagram to share a throwback video of Taylor where he joked about being upset with Stamos for stealing his Geico commercial.

"Stamos is a good buddy of mine. He's a good guy. I really like him a lot. He's a great drummer and he's just a great dude, all that stuff," Hawkins said in the video. "But I'm a little upset with him actually, I gotta be honest with you, because I was supposed to do that Geico commercial….Originally that was mine but they decided to go with Stamos ‘cause he's better looking. But I'm the best stick flipper around. Sorry, Stamos….It goes me, Tommy Lee, Stamos."

And Stamos agreed writing in his caption,

"Yes, Taylor you are the best stick flipper and I miss you pal!" he wrote on Instagram alongside the footage. #GoneWayTooF--kingSoon."

Stamos also lost close friend and co-star Bob Saget earlier this year in January.

Hawkins died in a hotel room in Chapinero, outside of Bogotá Columbia on March 25. The band was on tour in South America and was set to play at Colombia's Festival Estero Picnic. The band has since canceled all remaining tour dates.

An official cause of death has not yet been released, but officials reportedly suspect drugs could be at play as the drummer had several substances in his system as the time of death.
