The First Time

How can we forget the scene where it all started? Jackson and April had been friends for years by that point... But the night of their medical boards, April decided to lose her virginity with Jackson. And from that moment, Japril's love story officially began.

April Confides In Jackson

But the two don't get together immediately. They start exploring the attraction they feel, but then April starts a relationship with Matthew. April and Jackson decide to stay friends... But judging from this scene, it's pretty clear that the two couldn't deny their feelings for long....

The Explosion

.... And a bus explosion helped April navigate her feelings for Jackson. As the bus explodes, April can be seen screaming Jackson's name in tears. Then there's incredible relief as Jackson comes out of the flames, unharmed.

Jackson Interrupts April's Wedding

And yet, April decides to marry Matthew after a rejection from Jackson. But as she was pronouncing the vows, Jackson remembered what his mentor Mark Sloan once told him:

"If you love someone, you tell them. Even if you're scared that it's not the right thing. Even if you're scared it'll cause problems. Even if you're scared that it will burn your life to the ground. You say it. You say it loud."

Jackson stands up and interrupts the wedding. The two run away together and... Get married.

Different Perspectives

But marriage comes with responsibilities and differences start to emerge between the two. Especially about raising kids. Jackson is atheist, whereas April is very religious. As the two fight to figure out how to find a balance in raising an hypothetical kid, April drops the bomb: it is not hypothetical anymore. She's pregnant.

"We're Having A Baby"

"Dance it out" is part of Grey's culture and this scene is definitely proof of that. Everyone dances enthusiastically after April and Jackson tell them they're expecting.

Baby Kicking

April and Jackson sadly lose their baby due to a fatal birth defect. Later on, however, April gets pregnant again, but the two are now separating. This scene is incredibly moving as they decide to support and love each other for their baby. April lets Jackson feel the baby kick and, moved Jackson says: "this baby can kick." Make sure to have tissues ready before watching this scene.

Jackson Prays For April

As mentioned before Jackson's atheist. But when April gets involved in an accident, Jackson for the first time, prays for her and April finally wakes up.

Moving Together

Finally, after many years, April and Jackson reconnected in the last episode of Grey's Anatomy. The two are going to move to Boston together. And... There's another great news: Matthew and April have officially split up. With Jackson leaving the show, it is most likely that Japril fans will be pleased to know that the two might finally get back together.
