Jennifer Lopez

Lopez talked to SiriusXM Radio Andy about her upcoming performances, as well as recent wedding reschedules!

2020 has been quite a year for the world and Jennifer Lopez had lots of news to share about it with Andy Cohen at SiriusXM. Check out her 2020 recap as well as news about her recent encounter with Barbra Streisand and future performances below!

Lopez spoke to Cohen about having to postpone her wedding to fiance, Alex Rodriguez, due to the novel coronavirus and even brought up the idea of not having it at all. She shared:

" I mean at our age, we've both been married before, it's like, do we get married? Do we not? What does it mean for us? And it's just, it comes down to like personal, like, what do you want to do? There's definitely no rush though. It was really sad because we were supposed to get married in June and we had planned at all. So in March or April, we're looking down the pipe and we're going, 'this is maybe not going to happen.' Italy's the worst place in the world. And we were going to get married in Italy. It was, yeah, it was like, I was like, 'okay, we got to cancel everything.' And we just started kind of like, and we had to put out all this money and all this stuff, we were like, we gotta cancel it. So we, we canceled it. And then we try to regroup for later in the year, a few months ago. And I was like, 'Nope, still not the right time.' So it was just a little disappointing. And then you just think to yourself, well, things will happen in their divine time in a way, but the same thing with like the Goldie thing and Kurt, you think, do you have to, should we, it just kind of gave us a moment to pause and think about it. And I think it's something that maybe is still important to us, but there's no rush, you know, there's no rush it'll happen when it happens."

Halloween Costume

Lopez also spoke about her iconic Madonna costume this past Halloween. She said:

"That was my Halloween costume. We had we wanted to have a big again, we were like planning for this big Halloween party. And as we got closer, they're like, no, you can't have it. So we had like three friends over four friends. And yeah, we all got dressed up like way too much. My kids were like hiding in the bedrooms. They were like 'what are you doing?' I dressed as Madonna and Alex [Rodriguez] he went as Bruce Springsteen."

Jlo gave fans the intel on how it felt performing Barbra Streisand's song "People" at the One World:Together at Home event. She even mentioned how Streisand reached out to her after the performance. Lopez shared:

"You know, it's funny, I've been singing her songs since I was about 11 years old since my mother, let me watch "Funny Girl." I'm a huge fan. My mother was a huge fan of hers and I've always been a huge fan. She knows this about me. And so people don't know this, but I, I sing musical songs like that. Like, that's my thing, the more, even than pop music or funk or rock or anything like that. And I sing all different kinds of stuff, but you know, I've been singing that for a long, long time. So I felt very comfortable singing that song. I think just people have never heard me do things like that. And I just thought it was the perfect song for that moment because I just was missing everybody."
