Andy Cohen has finally addressed the legal drama surrounding Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah, who was arrested last week in connection with a telemarketing scam that targeted the elderly.
Cohen, who serves as an executive producer for the Real Housewives franchise, was just as shocked as we were to hear of Shah's arrest.
"Oy vey", Cohen opened when a fan on Radio Andy asked about Shah, "I'm waiting to see how it plays out. I have nothing to add to what we already know, other than I certainly hope and pray that none of it is true", he also later added.
Both Shah and her assistant, Stuart Smith, have pleaded not guilty to their charges, and have been held at a $1 million bond with trial set to begin in October. If convicted, both Shah and Stuart could face up to 30 years in prison.
Cohen declined to comment on whether or not Shah's spot on the show was in jeopardy, as he seems to be waiting for the trial to play out before making any decisions.
Shah, on the other hand, seems to be taking this in stride, posting news and opinions about her trial to her Instagram story.
