"It feels great. People say to me...
'Why didn't you do this sooner?'
I don't know what the answer is exactly. I think I just never really set out originally to make a self-titled album," Farriss said.

The album is already receiving rave reviews, with Rolling Stone Australia called the new album a "stunning collection."

"A lot of my influences are from my lifestyle. I live out where cowboys and cowgirls live and I do that kind of stuff in real life."

As an OG member of INXS, Farriss chatted about the band's legendary impact.

"INXS legacy is huge all around the world and I'm really proud of that. Never say never, a lot of it is not just up to me. I think for the moment we're comfortable not touring."
