HGTV hosts are known for breaking down walls, but Carmine Sabatella is also breaking down barriers.
Sabatella and co-host Mike Pyle launched HGTV's Inside Out in 2021... with fans loving the series from the jump.
"This has been kind of like a bucket list item of mine since I was in my early twenties. I was always drawn to HGTV," Sabatella said.
Luckily for him, Sabatella is living the life he always dreamt of while switching up the typical HGTV formula.
"They kind of wanted to change the platform a little bit from the standard HGTV show, which is kind of like the move the bus. They really wanted the client to be a part of the process from beginning to end and experiencing all the good, the bad, the ugly and everything in between."
The host also joins a proud group of HGTV hosts that are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, including David Bromstad, Evan Thomas, Keith Bynum, Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent.
"Anything that happens on the show that can encourage people out there to be more genuine, to be themselves, to not be fearful of holding someone's hand in public or speaking the way they want to speak... that to me, then, has done a huge job."
