We took an inside look at Netflix's newest comedy with the cast to see what The Upshaws are up to!
The Upshaws tells the story of a working class family living in Indiana who are juggling everyday life struggles- but always manage to make it hilarious!
Comedian Wanda Sykes gave correspondent Rachel Smith insight on how the project came to be:
"Mike came to me first and was like, 'Look, I wanna do a show about a working class family from Indiana, I love the old style sitcom, how can we do it, we'll make it fresh,' and then we get Kim Fields!"
Kim Fields, also known from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, weighed in on how filming The Upshaws was different from the Real Housewife life:
"You know what, the thing for me was, um. even when I did 'Housewives,' was to really find projects, genres, and outlets that I hadn't been a part of before. But when you say Mike Epps, Wanda Sykes, Netflix, that's what you do. You say where do I sign up?"
