This is the fourth movie collaboration for the star and director, following three real-life stories of heroism and survival; Lone Survivor, Deepwater Horizon, and Patriot’s Day.

Mile 22is the first work of fiction for the dynamic duo, and a sequel has already been greenlit. Do we smell a franchise?

The story follows Wahlberg as an American intelligence officer tasked with smuggling a police officer with secret information out of the country.

He is supported by a cast that includes The Walking Dead's Lauren Cohan, MMA superstar turned actor Ronda Rousey, and the iconic John Malkovich.

Mile 22promises an action-packed thrill ride with twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat.

It hits theaters on August 17th.
