Da 5 Bloods and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom

The late Chadwick Boseman is making history this year with four SAG Award nominations for his performances in the Netflix films Da 5 Bloodsand Ma Rainey's Black Bottom. Boseman's Black Pantherco-star Michael B Jordan paid tribute in light of the nominations on Instagram.

Also picking up multiple SAG and Critics Choice Award nominations is the film Minariabout the struggles faced by a Korean family immigrating to the American South. Starring The Walking Dead'sSteven Yeun, who's also been an award season sweetheart, this year.

"Seeing the words of how a life similar to mine could be put on a page, was very degrading. I was like oh, ok, I gotta do this" said Yeun of the picture.

Nomadland

Frances McDormand stars in the next film on our list, Nomadland, which just started streaming on Hulu. We'll find out who walks home with the hardware when the Critics Choice Awards, hosted by Taye Diggs, airs March 7th on The CW. The SAG Awards will be handed out April 4th on TBS and TNT.
