The classic tale is getting a modern revamp!
She's All That premiered in 1999 and the classic film is getting some new twists in the new film, He's All That.
TikTok star and influencer Addison Rae stars with Cobra Kai's'sTanner Buchanan in the Netflix reboot.
Addison Rae's newfound internet fame has led to her first lead acting role in this teen drama.
Rachel Smith sat down with two of the original stars to get their take on the modern telling. Rachael Leigh Cook played the lead role of Laney Boggs in the original film and will now be playing the mother of Padgett, Addison Rae's character.
"I feel full Amy Poehler all the time I'm like, 'I'm the cool mom, it's fine yeah'. My friends all messaged me being like, 'You're not the mom are you?' I'm like, 'Don't worry. This isn't a reflection on all of us but yes, I'm the mom," Cook said.
Matthew Lillard played Brock Hudson in the original film, but shared a teaser as to what this new and separate story may include.
"It's the same thing a little bit like the first one. I was scared to do it, I was nervous because you know, it's a big comedic moment and it may not work and then you look like an idiot," Lillard said.
Grab the popcorn as He's All That is streaming on Netflix August 27th.
