English actress best known for her work in Harry Potter and Peaky Blinders Helen McCrory has been confirmed dead at 52 years old on Friday, April 16.
McCrory's husband, actor Damian Lewis, confirmed the star's death this morning in a post to Twitter. Lewis noted his wife passed "after a heroic battle with cancer" and "peacefully at home."

McCrory married her husband and Homeland star in 2007 and the two have two children together.
McCrory's repertoire was extensive and successful, playing important roles such as Narcissa Malfoy in the final three Harry Potter films, Mama Jeanne in Hugo, Polly Gray in Peaky Blinders, Evelyn Poole in Penny Dreadful, and much more.

Helen McCrory has also been rewards for her incredible work onstage and onscreen. She received the award for Best Actress at the Broadcasting Press Guild Awards in 2001, rave reviews and award nominations for her work in Uncle Vanya, including a Drama Desk nomination.
The actress has also won the Glamour Award for Theatre Actress of the Year, a Biarritz International Festival of Audiovisual Programming award for her work in Peaky Blinders, and much more.
