Whether you know him as Will Lexington from Nashville or Link on Grey's Anatomy, now you can learn all about Chris Carmack and his newest project: making music with his wife!
Nashville correspondent Sam Alex sat down with Chris Carmack and wife Erin Slaver to talk about their new music, being released under the name "Life on Eris."
The couple talked about how they're not only writing and playing their own music, but producing everything themselves:
"Everything we've done so far is self-produced. Some of it, like "The Risk" is not only self produced, but we recored everything ourselves in our home studio here in Los Angeles."
But it doesn't stop here- the couple also records and edits all of their own music videos. Erin shared their process:
"[Shoot] with an iPhone... We always learned how to edit on all the software, edit video, edit music... It's so true what they say about being an artist: Music is the easy part, everything else, the photoshop, the Premiere Pro... Social media... It's so much."
The couple also spoke about how they came to be, meeting on the musical-television series Nashville. Chris said:
"Our passions for music collided together and we began collaborated in many ways... And that collaboration has led us to a family with a daughter and some great songs."
You can stream Life of Eris' new EP called "Stonewall," out everywhere now!
