GOT Creators Fill Cast For Their Netflix Film. Here's What We Know

Jaeden Martell

GOT creators cast the protagonists of their Netflix film Metal Lords.

GOT creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are coming back with a new Netflix movie called Metal Lords. Here's the names of the protagonists of the coming of age film.

After the end of Game of Thrones, everyone was excited to know what the next project the screenwriters would be. In August 2019, Benioff and Weiss signed a contract with Netflix to provide new original content to the streaming platform.

And now the wait is officially over. Metal Lords, written by Weiss and produced alongside Benioff, Bernie Caulfield, Robin Fisichella and Greg Shapiro, is a coming of age comedy about two kids that want to start a heavy metal band...Although they're the only ones who listen to this genre at their school.

Jaeden Martell, Isis Hainsworth and Adrian Greensmith will star in this brand new comedy.

We've already seen Martell in various movies such as the horror film It, and the hilarious Knives Out. Hainsworth has also acted in the drama Misbehavior and Jane Austen's novel adaptation Emma.

Greensmith, however, currently studies at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London and will make his first appearance in this movie.

But this is not the only project Benioff and Weiss are working on. The GOT duo is currently involved in The Three-Body Problem, a series based on a sci-fi trilogy written by Liu Cixin, The Overstory, an adaptation of the novel written by Richard Powers and, finally, a dramedy The Chair that will star Grey's Anatomy and Killing Eve actress Sandra Oh.

At this point, we'll just have to wait for a release date of the new Netflix movie, where we'll see Benioff and Weiss's creativity spark once again.
