Prince Phillip's last wishes have been granted: he will not have a state funeral and will not lie in state. The College of Arms, the body that supervises the ceremonial protocol, stated that the funeral will be held in St George's Chapel. A date for the funeral is yet to be announced.
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the public is asked to avoid gathering in crowds. The national restrictions in England state that only 30 people are permitted to attend funerals. It'll likely be a smaller number for Prince Phillip, to ensure safety in such a delicate and important occasion.
