Psych served a strong eight seasons of laughs, mystery and fun. Now, the series is back for more. The first look reveals the first four minutes of Psych 2: Lassie Come Home where Joel McHale plays the Police Chief Carlton Lassiter's (Timothy Omundson) father in a flashback.
Shawn and Gus are back!
Psych 2: Lassie Come Home shows Lassiter recuperating at a care facility when supernatural occurrences start happening. It's a job for the psychic duo Shawn and Gus to solve the case!
The Cast, Director and Network
Psych 2: Lassie Comes Home will be directed by show creator Steve Franks and will include many original cast members like Kirsten Nelson, Corbin Bernsen and Maggie Lawson. The sequel released a teaser in April where Shawn and Gus discuss some spookiness from the film. The movie was written by James Roday, Steve Franks and Andy Berman. Initially, the film was set to air on USA Network but it moved to NBCUniversal's new streaming platform Peacock last September. The same day Peacock launches worldwide, Psych 2: Lassie Comes Home debuts. Catch it on July 15th!
