'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria disclosed her thoughts on a possible reboot on the beloved comedy-drama series.

Longoria, who played the fan favorite Gabrielle Solis, claimed that she was open to reprising her role during an interview with Fox 5 New York. The 47-year-old discussed with news anchor Rosanna Scotto about the potential reboot stating,

"Believe me, I would be the first to sign up, like, I'm already on Wisteria Lane, and I'd be like 'sign me up.

Executive Producer Marc Cherry didn't seem as eager as Longoria was for the future.

"He feels like he's fully explored those characters. He really was like, kind of a 'Why now?,' like 'Why now, what would they be doing?' Plus, I'm 100-years-old, so I don't know if anybody cares." Longoria added.

The show premiered back in 2004 on ABC. It followed four women as they tried to uncover the mystery of their friend's suicide. Brenda Strong narrated the show from her grave as she portrayed their friend Mary Alice Young, while Longoria (Gabrielle Solis), Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer), Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo) and Marcia Cross (Bree Van de Kamp) figured out her cause of death, and also faced their own hidden secrets.

Although Longoria still believes in the comeback of 'Desperate Housewives,' it looks like the show won't be returning anytime soon.
