Elon Musk has voiced his agreement with Nazi conspiracy theories that fallaciously claim Jewish people run the world and are trying to erase white people.

Billionaire Elon Musk, the owner of social media platform X, is being accused of glaring anti-Semitism after agreeing with a conspiracy theory widely popular among Nazis and Neo-Nazis.

Musk came under fire after agreeing with a post from a user on the platform, formerly known as Twitter, which stated in part: "Jewish communities have been pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them."

Musk then replied to the user: "You have said the actual truth."

The post seems to perpetuate the "great replacement" theory: an unfounded, far-right, white nationalist conspiracy theory that a wealthy group of Jewish people, who run the world in secret, are embracing immigrants and other minorities in an effort to erase white people.

The idea that Jewish people run the world is in itself a Nazi conspiracy theory, known as the "Jewish Question" (JQ). Both have been widely rejected for their blatant absurdism.

After being called out by multiple users and organizations, Musk doubled down and began attacking the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), accusing the Jewish advocacy group of pushing "de facto anti-white racism [and] anti-Asian racism."

Elon Musk versus the ADL

Elon Musk previously accused the ADL of “trying to kill” X. He threatened a lawsuit against the organization in September, alleging that X's recent decline in advertisement sales were the result of an ADL report from May that found more than 5,000 examples of “virulent anti-Semitism” in just one month from accounts that were not removed, or in some cases, reinstated.

Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the ADL, responded to Musk's most recent comments on Thursday, describing them as "dangerous."

“At a time when anti-Semitism is exploding in America and surging around the world, it is indisputably dangerous to use one’s influence to validate and promote antisemitic theories,” he wrote.
