I'll Be Gone In The Dark on HBO
HBO taking us inside the investigation in a new six-part docu-series called; I'll Be Gone in the Dark. The name taken from the best-selling book by Michelle McNamara.
Not only was Michelle a respected writer, she was also married to comedian Patton Oswalt.
Michelle's determination would bring the story of the Golden State Killer to the nation's attention. But sadly, Michelle died in 2016 before finishing her book on the subject. That's where Patton came in.
He and and two other writers worked to finish Michelle's manuscript. The book was finally published in February of 2018. Just two months later, the killer was finally caught.
