Andy Cohen asked David Schwimmer the question we are all dying to know the answer to: what's going on with the Friends reunion?! Schwimmer shared some insight:
"Actually, in a little over a month I'm heading out to LA. So, finally, I mean, we figured out a way to film it safely and there's going to be a portion of it that we filmed outside because of, you know, for safety protocols."
This news comes quickly after the president of HBO Programming confirmed in an interview that the TV special will be filming later this spring, after being pushed back from originally being set to film in March 2020.
Along with this comes speculation of the show's potential host, which Andy also inquired about in the interview. Schwimmer said he didn't know if he was allowed to reveal who it was just yet:
"Yeah. Should've found that out. Um, all right. It's not Ellen, it's not Billy Crystal. I could tell you who it's not."
Well, at least that really narrows it down for us!
While there is no set release date for the Friends TV special just yet, we are definitely already gearing up for it. When it finally arrives, you can watch it exclusively on HBO Max.
