Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s final lap is nowhere in sight!
Dale Earnhardt Jr., the son of NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt, has cemented his own legacy in the sport.
Earnhardt first started racing at 17 and is a two-time Daytona 500 victor. After spending 20 years in the sport, the racer retired in 2018 due to concussion issues. His success has now led to an induction of the NASCAR Hall of Fame Class of 2021, as he continues to follow in his father's footsteps.
"If I can't win everything on the track or be as successful as my father, maybe I can continue to take the sport to places we've never been, and so, that's something I've always tried to do," Earnhardt said.
Now, Earnhardt's media career is taking him to new heights, including the announcer's booth, hilarious commercials and even abandoned speedways.

As the host of Peacock's documentary series, Lost Speedways, Earnhardt travels to abandoned race tracks across the country
"Going around and finding these old abandoned speedways is a passion of mine. We put Season 1 out there, and people really loved it. It's kind of reached beyond our NASCAR demographic and that's a good thing," Earnhardt said.
