The Critics Choice Association (CAA) has released the nominations for the film categories for the 27th Annual Critics Choice Awards.
Leading with eleven nominations is Belfast from Focus Features. Apart from Best Picture, other nominations include the following:
• Best Supporting Actor for both Jamie Dornan and Ciarán Hinds;
• Best Supporting Actress for Caitríona Balfe;
• Best Young Actor/Actress for Jude Hill;
• Best Acting Ensemble;
• Best Director and Best Original Screenplay for Kenneth Branagh
• Best Cinematography for Haris Zambarloukos
• Best Production Design for Jim Clay and Claire Nia Richards
• Best Editing for Úna Ní Dhonghaíle
Another leading movie with eleven nominations is West Side Story by Steven Spielberg. The famous director received a nomination for Best Director and the other nominees include:
• Best Supporting Actress for Ariana DeBose and Rita Moreno
• Best Young Actor/Actress for Rachel Zegler
• Best Acting Ensemble;
• Best Adapted Screenplay for Tony Kushner
• Best Cinematography for Janusz Kaminski
• Best Production Design for Adam Stockhausen and Rena DeAngelo
• Best Editing for Sarah Broshar and Michael Kahn
• Best Costume Design for Paul Tazewell
Finally, the movies nominated for Best Picture are the following:

• CODA
• Don't Look Up
• Dune
• King Richard
• Licorice Pizza
• Nightmare Alley
• The Power of the Dog

Critics Choice Association CEO Joey Berlin praised the movies recognizing the talented artists that worked hard to make them happen in these challenging times.
"We are so proud to be honoring this amazing list of films and the incredibly talented people who made them during this extremely challenging time,” Berlin said.
