The show must go on! And Cirque Du Soleil is back.
Intermission is over for the Montreal-based entertainment company as they return to Las Vegas after a long hiatus.
The company's longest running show, Mystere was the first of the Cirque Du Soleil resident shows to reopen. Treasure Island hosted the grand reopening of that show, while The Bellagio welcomed back the water-themed, O shortly after. President & CEO Daniel LaMarre had this to say about the return of the shows:
"I'm overwhelmed about the reaction of the public right now. We are sold out for the next few months so I cannot describe how excited and how grateful I am."
But, the fun doesn't stop there; The Beatles LOVE and Michael Jackson ONE, the music-inspired iterations of Cirque Du Soleil, are making their returns to sin city later this month.
Blue Man Group is also stepping back into the spotlight in Las Vegas. They also have plans to reopen their shows in Chicago and New York in the future. The triumphant return of the sensation is even getting the documentary treatment, with MGM currently producing a film on Cirque's reopening.
