The Netflix half-hour dramedy The Kominsky Method will be the show's final season.

The Golden Globe award winning series stars Michael Douglas as Sandy Kominsky, who plays an actor turned acting coach, and Alan Arkin as agent Norman Newlander. The show follows these two old friends living in LA and trying to work their way through a city valuing beauty and youth. The series was created and is executive produced by Chuck Lorre as well as Al Higgins and Michael Douglas.

According to Variety, Lorre spoke on what the last season means to him:

"'The Kominsky Method' has been a true passion project for me and it's been an incredible experience to see the warm response from both audiences and critics. I'm excited to wrap up the story with this final chapter,"

The series did not announce when the final season will air or how many episodes it will be.
