In today's day and age, social media is a tool that empowers people everywhere to connect with friends and family, learn new things, and share ideas. However, Chris Pratt has been on the opposite of the positives of social media as of late.
This past weekend, a tweet appeared where various Avengers stars including Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pine and Chris Evans and said "One has to go." Twitter users responded by selecting Pratt, citing is political and religious views. Many of Pratt's castmates in the MCU are now coming to his defense. In the world of negativity we live in today, Pratt's costars are sharing words of kindness and respect for Pratt.

Robert Downey Jr.
Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr. took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the negative comments towards Pratt, saying:
"What a world...The "sinless" are casting stones at my #brother, Chris Pratt... A real #Christian who lives by #principle, has never demonstrated anything but #positivity and #gratitude... AND he just married into a family that makes space for civil discourse and (just plain fact) INSISTS on service as the highest value. If you take issue with Chris,,, I've got a novel idea. Delete your social media accounts, sit with your OWN defects of #character, work on THEM, then celebrate your humanness... @prattprattpratt I #gotyerbackbackback"

Mark Ruffalo, a well-known activist and progressive, came to Pratt's defense after social media users pinned him for his political and religious views. Ruffalo shared:
You all, @prattprattpratt is as solid a man there is. I know him personally, and instead of casting aspersions, look at how he lives his life. He is just not overtly political as a rule. This is a distraction. Let's keep our eyes on the prize, friends. We are so close now.
