Get ready to get Candified in Hulu’s newest reality series.
It’s a reality show like you’ve never seen before. In Candified, the self-proclaimed Candy Queen, Jackie Sorkin takes on the daunting task of building a life-sized house entirely out of sweets.
Sorkin is almost like a real life Willy Wonka and she’s bringing her talents to the screen.
“Candy for me is the medium to connect and speak all good things to people. It connects everyone easily, beautiful, it makes people happy. 'Candified' is just this dream come true show. It’s 14 years in the making, thats when I started my business, 14 years ago. I always knew it was something really special. People thought I was crazy, they still probably do. I just lean into that real hard and that’s okay," Sorkin said.
With the help of a group of “candy artist elves," as she calls them, Sorkin will take on the challenge of building a full operational candy house.
“Candy and the holidays are the perfect marriage and at this point I feel like we can create anything as long as it makes people happy.”
