In 1981, Adam Walsh was suddenly abducted, leaving the family to grieve for the loss of their loved one, along with many unanswered questions. Since then, the family has channeled that pain into doing good.
Ever since Adam's disappearance, the family has made it their mission and purpose to ensure that no missing person is ever forgotten. The Walsh family founded the National Center for Missing Exploited Children, an organization that has fought to return over 350,000 children back to their families.
While working at NCMEC as his full-time job, Callahan co-hosts In Pursuit with John Walsh alongside his father.
Now, he's continuing his main passion of helping to find missing people, particularly missing children, as host of In Pursuit: The Missing.
"I can't stress enough how important the power of the public is, and that's what we're trying to do... is harness the power of the public to get a positive resolution for these victims."
In Pursuit: The Missing is streaming now on Discovery+.
