The Cake Boss is bringing more delicious food to Sin City and he's just getting started!
Buddy Valastro, known for his shows on the Food Network and TLC, is opening up a new restaurant in Las Vegas.
The baker and television star is launching The Boss Cafe at the LINQ Hotel + Experience this spring. This will be his fourth restaurant concept in Vegas.
The Cake Boss, who called Vegas his "second home," couldn't be more thrilled to bring the classic tastes of New York and New Jersey to Las Vegas.
"I'm really excited about the Boss Cafe, because from my perspective... it's got pizza, it's got great sandwiches and it's got some great bakery goods. It's all about what the typical New Jersey, New York delis do. All about the fresh mutz. We're gonna be making fresh mozzarella, by hand right in the front, people are gonna see it."
The Boss Café will join la famiglia of Buddy V’s Ristorante, Carlo’s Bakery and PizzaCake with casual, to-go dining capturing the savory and sweet side of the famed New Jersey chef and restaurateur. Inspired by all the neighborhood delis and markets in New Jersey and New York the Valastro and his family grew up with, The Boss Café features a variety of fresh baked breads, Italian sandwiches, hand-crafted pizzas, a house-made fresh mozzarella bar, and a variety of sweets and pastries.
The Boss Café is Buddy Valastro’s fourth restaurant concept to open in Las Vegas.
“After successfully launching my first restaurant in Las Vegas, I completely fell in love with not only the city, but its culinary landscape and its people. "I love being able to showcase the food I grew up while launching my first casual restaurant in the town that gave me the opportunity to show that I’m more than just a baker, but a chef.”
At The Boss Café, it’s all about the Mozz (pronounced Mutz!, hand gesture optional). The highlight of the restaurant is the Mozz Bar, where guests can grab their favorite fresh mozzarella creation served with warm rustic bread and their choice of topping from basil pesto, roasted peppers, tomato-olive relish or tomato, fresh basil and aged balsamic. Created by Valastro’s father in-law and made fresh daily, the Mozz is on full display not only as a key ingredient on sandwiches and other menu items, but will be made in an open kitchen by The Boss Café’s ‘Mutz Masters.’
The menu at The Boss Café will offer casual Italian-American fare conceived by Valastro himself along with Corporate Executive Chef, Bryan Forgione. Forgione recently joined Valastro on the restaurant group side, coming from Buddy V’s Ristorante where he ran the kitchen since opening in 2013. The impressive menu will also feature different counters including House Salads including Pop’s Panzanella or the Hoboken Chop; the Sandwich Counter with classics like Rosemary Ham or Caprese served on fresh Jersey Focaccia or East Coast Hoagies like the Jersey Beef or the Valastro with smoked pancetta; and Grandma Squares with the coolest square this side of Jersey, including Margherita, Pepperoni or the Boss Supreme. Staying tried and true to Buddy’s baking roots, The Boss Café will also boast an impressive dessert selection and all-time favorites made famous by Carlo’s Bakery such as the world famous Lobster Tail Pastry, Tiramisu, Cheesecake, Cannoli, assorted cakes, and fresh-baked cookies.
The Boss Café by Buddy Valastro is located at The LINQ Hotel + Experience, across from the new District 3 Elevators and CAESARS FORUM bridge. Occupying 1,400 square feet and including indoor seating, the café is designed as a grab and go concept perfect for people looking for a quick bite or to take home delicious treats for the family.
