It looks like Britney Spears is working on something new! While most of the dancing clips populating the pop star's Instagram are taken in her living room or backyard, she shared a video of herself returning to the dance studio on Thursday.
In a 13-second clip, the "Oops!...I Did It Again" singer performs a dance to her 2007 song "Get Naked (I Got a Plan)" while dressed in a pink bodysuit and black stilettos. She also hinted at a surprise to come in the caption.
Seeing the queen back in front of a studio mirror delighted fans, with several commenters posting theories that "Blackout 2.0" is on the horizon, referencing the B-side she danced to from the 2007 album.
The new promise of what's to come also hints that the "Toxic" singer may have changed her mind since she wrote last December that she didn't want to make music anymore after being "embarrassed" and "hurt deeply" while under a conservatorship for 13 years.
She also shared that she wasn't allowed to perform new songs or remixes of old songs during those years.
"So much time wasted only to embarrass and humiliate me, and I guess it seems odd to most now why I don't even make my music anymore," she wrote. "People have no idea the awful things that were done to me personally ... and after what I've been through, I'm scared of people and the business!!! They really hurt me!!! Not making music anymore is my way of saying 'f**k you' in a sense when it only actually benefits my family by ignoring my real work."
Whether or not the superstar releases new music, it's great to see her happy and back in the studio, doing what she loves most.
