Brad Pitt is starring as hitman in Sony Pictures new action thriller Bullet Train directed by David Leitch.
Brad Pitt is reuniting with the Deadpool 2 director to tell the story of five assassins on a fast-moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops along the way. Pitt will star as an American hitman named Ladybug, and the film is based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka.
Bullet Train will be Leitch's follow-up to Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw and Pitt's latest starring role after career-best performances in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Ad Astra.
This action packed thriller is scheduled to begin filming fall 2020. The film is a contained thriller, meaning it can be shot on a contained set, making it easier to follow health restrictions.
