Keep reading, film lovers! Some of Hollywood's most anticipated movies are coming out this weekend, and their stars are telling us what to look out for in these big premieres.
Luca
One of the newest animated films includes Disney Pixar's Luca. Comedian Jim Gaffigan shares with us what's got audiences most excited for this playful, coming-of-age story:
"Luca is a story of friendships that are authentic and only found around a certain age."
Maya Rudolph, who voices character Daniela Paguro in the film, sheds her insight on why Luca is set to become an instant family favorite:
"I love this moment in a young person's life, having someone push you out of your comfort zone to discover yourself."
Luca is streaming now on Disney+.
Fatherhood
Comedian Kevin Hart also stars in another new movie to add to your weekend watchlist. Fatherhood is the story of Matthew Logelin (played by Hart) who raises his baby girl as a single dad.
Taking on a more serious and sensitive role, Hart said:
"It's the story of a man who loses the closest thing to him, which is his wife. And he's left with the job of raising a child, but he struggles with it."
Fatherhood is now streaming on Netflix.
Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway
A third film that premieres this weekend is none other than Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway.
James Corden is back voicing his beloved character, Peter Rabbit, in this hilarious sequel. In this second, live-action film starring Corden as the mischievous rabbit, Peter Rabbit and his friends hit the road on an all-new adventure.
