Bebe Rexha is speaking out abut her sexuality and how giving it a label makes her nervous.
The 31-year-old was in an interview with Gay Timesand had expressed her views about being attracted to someone as something that does not need to have a gender role attached to it.
"What I believe about sexuality is this: it's a scale," Rexha told the Gay Times. "Have I gone out with girls before? Yes. Have I dated girls? Yes, I have. And famous ones, but I'm not naming them. Even though people would be living for it – no!"
She continued with saying that she has fallen in love with a girl before, but right now she is in a relationship with a guy. She even went on to say her relationships with girls were more emotional than normal. "The only thing I will say is that when I'm in a relationship with a girl, it's just too emotional," she said.
Further explain "the power" women try to have is something that she personally cant deal with.
Her attraction or love for an individual is something that comes from inspiration at the time.
The grammy-nominated pop star explained how she is not very keen on being put under one particular label. "It's just so hard because everybody wants to put people in boxes and I don't like boxes, as you can tell with my music. Like, I don't like boxes whatsoever," she said in the interview.
As for her music, the Meant To Be singer is dropping a new album on May 7 called Better Mistakes. Rexha had said this album has been in the making for the past two years and even added her vulnerable self inside going "back to her roots."
