We're here to deliver good news and a glimpse at normalcy as the band Chicago announces their return to The Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas for a live, in-person concert.
Chicago is one of the greatest rock bands of all time, and they are back and better than ever to rock The Venetian Theatre.
The group, known in part for one of their hits "You're the Inspiration", announced multiple shows set for this September at the famous Venetian theater at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Billboard chart statistics show that Chicago is second only to the Beach Boys as "the most successful American rock band of all time, in terms of both albums and singles." Perhaps this is due in part to how they ingeniously marry popular genres like classical, jazz, R&B, and pop to make themselves a fan favorite.
Chicago had humble beginnings, when reed player Walter Parazaider's called a meeting upon his soon-to-be bandmates in his apartment on February 15, 1967, like bass player Robert Lamm.
From there the band started practicing in Parazaider's parent's basement until they picked up gigs under the name The Big Thing. Fast forward, and the band became Chicago Transit Authority, as per the mind of band manager and Columbia Records producer James William Guercio.
Chicago Transit Authority made its debut in April 1969, displayed on the charts in May as the band began their national tour. By the time July rolled around, the album had reached the Top 20, even without the help of a hit single.
The actual Chicago Transit Authority caught wind of the windy city-based name and didn't like it very much, forcing Guercio to shorten it to just Chicago, though it has since been dubbed Chicago II.
Since then, Chicago has acquired some pretty serious chops. They were inducted into the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, despite eligibility since 1994! They even have their own documentary, Now More Than Ever: The History of Chicago. The two-hour film about the band's long career debuted on CNN in 2017.
