HBO Max's Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty revisits this basketball team's dynasty.
Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty is an upbeat, classic drama-comedy series that revolves around a young Magic Johnson and the Lakers.
The audience is taken back in time as the show is filmed on a 35-millimeter camera, representing the periodic era of all the events that occurred within the organization.
Austin Aaron plays power forward Mark Landsberger in the series.
"Entertainment really becomes a part of the NBA as it was really struggling at that time and honestly on the verge of bankruptcy. It tells all the stories of all the players like myself, [Mark], Kareem and Magic," Aaron said.
Austin also stars amongst a star-studded cast with big names such as John C. Reilly, Adrien Brody, Jason Segel, Sally Field, Jason Clarke, Quincy Isaiah, Soloman Hughes and DeVaughn Nixon.
"To be at this point on a show with such amazing actors, cast and crew, it's a dream come true," Aaron said.
