Armie Hammer Reportedly 'Preparing Himself' to Watch House of Hammer

20th Century Studios

Sources say that the disgraced Call Me by Your Name actor “has an idea about what’s coming.”

Armie Hammer’s name is about to get called out in the new docuseries House of Hammer.

Best known for playing Oliver in Call Me by Your Name, John Redi in The Lone Ranger, and the Winklevoss twins in The Social Network, Hammer has been secluded from Hollywood since accusations came to the surface about him sexually harassing women and acting “like a cannibal” with them. Now, the actor is preparing to face those claims against him in a docuseries from Discovery+.

Sources have told Entertainment Tonightthat “Armie is trying to prepare himself as much as he can for the House of Hammer documentary. He has an idea about what’s coming. Despite this, Armie has been trying to move forward as much as possible emotionally speaking and in terms of his career.”

Call Me by Your Name director Luca Guadagnino recently shared the trailer for his upcoming film, Bones and All, where Timothée Chalamet plays a young cannibal. According to the director, however, his upcoming movie has nothing to do with these claims surrounding Hammer and the timing of the trailer was simply coincidental.

Another incredibly strange recent report regarding Hammer has been the rumor that the actor is currently selling timeshares in the Cayman Islands as a means to make money. This first started as a joke on Twitter and was quickly denied by the actor’s publicists. Alas, what appeared to be further confirmation was subsequently shared with the press in the days that followed the original reports.

Needless to say, House of Hammer isn’t a good look for Hammer, who is bracing himself for what’s to come.

House of Hammer premieres Friday, September 2 on Discovery+.
