Geffri Maya leads the new drama as fan-favorite Simone, who pursues her dreams as she heads off to college.

"I think that if you're an All American die-hard fan, then I think you are just going to buckle up for the ride no matter what it is. We're trying to take everyone on a journey with characters that they've grown to love," Maya said.

In the series, Simone will be taking on the very relatable challenge of trying to balance academics, athletics and a personal life.

"They're already playing up the whole love triangle [between] Damon and Simone... will Jordan survive? It's just honestly the only thing that I will and can say. Y'all went to college, y'all went to school... y'all know what goes down."

Besides the familiar faces, the show will be also introduce a diverse new cast of characters for fans to digest.

"As an artist and as a black woman proudly, I'm tired of feeling like we got to ask permission to tell our stories or tiptoe in the room."

All American: Homecoming premieres Monday, February 21st on The CW.
