Is your favorite daytime star finally making their return to the screen?

Sonia Isabelle talks with Soap Opera Digest editorial director, Stephanie Sloane, about a few actors returning to daytime - plus Sloane shares the childhood idols of some of your favorite stars!

It's been almost 40 years since Kim Delaney first appeared in daytime television with her breakout role of Jenny Gardner Nelson on All My Children. All these years later, Delaney will now be checking in to one of the most popular soap operas: General Hospital. Since leaving daytime in 1984, the actress went on to perform many roles in television and feature films. You can see her in her new role very soon as she has already begun filming.

Additionally, Camila Banus will return to daytime after taking a break from Days Of Our Lives. The actress told Sloane that she just needed a break but that she is excited to return and reprise her role of "Gabby".

Sloane also spoke with some stars to round up a list of celebrity heroes! The list includes Nancy Kerrigan, Jonny Quest, and Michael Jordan. Watch this weeks segment of Soap Opera Digest to see who picked them as their idols!
